Carl Cox - Live @ Space, Ibiza Closing Fiesta Oct 2016

Carl Cox – Live @ Space Ibiza (The Final Closing Fiesta – October 2, 2016)

Experience the historic, emotional final chapter of the most iconic club in dance music history.
On October 2, 2016, an era officially came to an end. After 27 years of defining global club culture, the legendary Space Ibiza opened its doors for one final, monumental 20-hour marathon closing fiesta. There was only one man fit to carry the torch for the club's final hours: the undisputed King of Ibiza himself, Carl Cox.
Having held down his legendary "Music Is Revolution" residency at the venue for 15 years, Carl Cox delivered an incredibly powerful, house and techno-fueled marathon set that stretched late into Monday morning. Surrounded in the booth by Space founder Pepe Roselló and longtime friend Nic Fanciulli, Coxy channeled nearly three decades of club history into the sound system, playing everything from driving contemporary tech-house to legendary dance classics.
The climax of this mix is etched forever into clubbing folklore. As the clock struck midday on Monday, October 3, Carl Cox dropped his own exclusive, high-tempo custom edit of Angie Stone's "Wish I Didn't Miss You". Tears flowed, hands filled the air, and the curtains drew closed on the greatest club the world has ever known.
Turn the volume up and dive into a definitive piece of dance music history.
