Frankie Knuckles | Boiler Room: NYC

Frankie Knuckles - Live @ Boiler Room NYC

Witness a timeless masterclass in pure emotion from the undisputed Godfather of House.
On 4 April 2013, the underground broadcast series Boiler Room played host to absolute royalty. Recorded live in a small, intimate warehouse space in Williamsburg for Boiler Room New York 007, this headline performance by the legendary Frankie Knuckles took place just one year before his tragic passing, leaving behind a flawless blueprint of what dance music is truly about.
Stepping up to the intimate, crowd-facing decks with his signature warm smile, Frankie bypassed modern tricks to deliver a soulful, deeply moving one-hour journey. The setlist acts as a masterclass in classic Chicago house, deep house, vocal garage, and nu-disco. Seamlessly blending his own sophisticated Director’s Cut productions alongside uplifting house anthems, Frankie effortlessly unified the packed, sweaty room under a collective groove of pure optimism and joy.
More than a simple DJ set, this performance stands as a historic, emotional time capsule capturing a pioneer doing exactly what he loved most.
